Starling C. Reid, M.D.

Dr. Starling Reid graduated Summa cum Laude from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1989 and received the Outstanding School of Science and Math Graduate Award.  She then attended UT Southwestern Medical School where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha and received the prestigious Richard Mays Smith Award in Internal Medicine.  Dr. Reid completed her internship and residency at UT Southwestern and has been in private practice in the Dallas area since 1996. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians. 

A member of Texas Health Physicians Group with hospital privileges at Texas Health Allen, Dr. Reid offers comprehensive health care for patients ages 16 and older.  She has a special interest in women’s health and preventive medicine. Dr. Reid feels the doctor-patient relationship should be a partnership based on mutual respect, compassionate care, and patient education.

Married for nineteen years and the mother of four children, Dr. Reid is active in community outreach programs in McKinney and Allen.
